Transformations WORKSHEETS Enlargement Reflection Rotation Translation Year 5 - 6 Math
Overview
Description
ENLARGEMENT REFLECTION ROTATION TRANSLATION
These worksheets can be used on their own or to support the learning from the Transformations Rapid Recall Routine. Students will Write & Recite, Recall & Revise the different transformations of 2D shapes. Then they can Apply & Extend their knowledge and understanding to identify and create the different transformations including enlargement, rotation, reflection and translation.
Students need to be able to identify and create different transformations of 2D shapes. These worksheets will help them to recognise that reflection, rotation and translation changes the orientation and position of 2D shapes but the size and shape remain the same. Students will also see that enlargement changes the size of the 2D shape in proportion to the original shape.
The worksheets can be completed in class or as homework and are great for differentiating the content taught within your classroom.
