Add lots of fun to learning CCVCC words with this game. It has ten boards and sixty illustrated cards and can be used for intervention, consolidation or review. The illustrated cards give it the flexibility to be used for intervention prior to playing the game, making it an all-ability game with high levels of engagement. The words I have used are: Board 1: brush, crash, slept, shock, flick, shack Board 2: frost, fresh, clock, stump, stamp, stick Board 3: plank, spend, cross, skunk, chimp, chest Board 4: drink, blend, stink, stand, crush, block Board 5: stack, chuck, check, flash, sling, swing Board 6: thing, sting, dress, floss, smack, chunk Board 7: swept, swish, trash, crack, truck, flock Board 8: trick, blond, grand, spill, spell, skull Board 9: slant, mock, print, shell, stuck, blimp Board 10: clump, champ, snack, stiff, press, chomp You can use it this game in small groups or even a whole class in groups, each player responsible for a line or column. You can leave out boards and the corresponding cards without it affecting the game.
