This silent E words bingo game is a fun way for students to build phonics and reading skills. They will practice reading CVC words and changing them to CVCe words.

On each slide, students see a CVC word and picture followed by the corresponding CVCe word (For example: cap and cape). They read the new word, changing the short vowel sound to the long sound, and then mark the picture for the CVCe word on their bingo cards.

The slides advance automatically, so you can start the game and then get something else done or circulate the room to help students while they play.

This silent E bingo game also has a shuffle feature that lets you shuffle the slides with the click of a button. That means you can play over and over!

Printable calling cards are included in case you don't have Powerpoint or prefer to print smaller cards to use in your guided reading groups.
