Use these explicit teaching acronym posters in the classroom. Includes WILF, WALT, TIB, and WINK but as the writing is editable, you can replace these with any acronym you prefer to use.

• Add these to your classroom so students know explicitly what they are to learn and why. They can be used for any unit of work. This example is being used for a science unit. You will need to type over these with your own words or use your syllabus for guidance.

• Alternatively, delete unwanted text, print, and laminate so that you can fill in with a whiteboard marker.

• Your school may or may not use these acronyms, so simply change these to ones that you do use.
