Description
This is Lesson 2 in a series of 5 lessons that explores different drawing techniques and materials with your 1/2 students.
Inspired by Paris Owen’s abstract drawing of a spaceship, in this lesson, students will:
- Revise the art elements of line, colour, shape and texture, as well as learn about the art principles of contrast, emphasis, repetition/pattern and movement.
- Use what they learn to create their own abstract Space artwork.
- Share their ideas about the choices they made in their artwork related to the art elements and principles.
