## Description

Teach writing vowel digraph and trigraph words and sentences to your kindergarten and grade 1 students using these decodable digraph worksheets. There are many uses for these vowel digraph Word worksheets! Includes ar, ur, er, ir, or, aw, ow, oe, air, ow, ou, oi, oy, ue, ew, ui, ear. Use in literacy centres, independent work, dictation and phonics rotations. I created this resource to support early writing in the classroom. When introducing a new phoneme (sound) it is important to apply and practice the new sound by reading and writing words with the new sound. I use these worksheets as the independent practice part of the lesson, after we have read and written the words together on whiteboards (Using the companion sentence PowerPoint that goes along with this resource). You can either use them as dictation templates or independent writing worksheets and encourage students to write a word/ sentence using the sounds that they know. 90 worksheets included, with the following words and sentences: ar, ur, er, ir Farm, card, shark, yard The farm has a big yard.
