These differentiated writing scaffolds allows teachers to choose the right level of scaffold their students need to be successful in writing a successful setting description. 

This resource can be utilised in whole class writing lesson, small group work, intervention groups, morning work and literacy centres. 

Once students know how to use the planning scaffold, they will be able to independently use it to plan their writing.
