Earn $20 for Every Friend You Refer

TeachBuySell's referral program rewards you for helping us grow. When a friend signs up and becomes a verified seller through your referral, you'll earn $20 in credit and they'll get $10 off their seller fee.

Reward Structure

• Referrer receives: $20 credit deposited to your account (cashable to bank).
• New seller receives: $10 discount on seller fee (pays $40 instead of $50).

Getting Your Referral Code

1. Log into your TeachBuySell account.
2. Click your profile picture (top right).
3. Select Referrals from the dropdown, or go to Account Settings and then Referrals.
4. Your unique code displays in the format: TEACH-XXXXXX.

Sharing Methods

From your Referrals dashboard:

• Copy Link: Click "Copy link" to duplicate your referral URL for messaging, social media, or email.
• Email: Click "Email" to open your email app with a pre-written message.
• Social Media: Use the Facebook, Instagram, or Share buttons for quick posting.

The referral code auto-applies when the recipient signs up via your link.

Earning Timeline

Your $20 credit deposits when your referred friend:

1. Signs up using your link (or manually enters your code).
2. Pays the seller fee to become a verified seller.

You'll receive an email notification confirming the credit has been added.

Referral Status Tracking

Your dashboard displays three statuses:

• Pending: Friend signed up but hasn't paid seller fee yet.
• Credited: Friend paid the fee; you earned $20.
• Paid Out: You cashed out credit to your bank account.

Cashing Out Credits

Requirements:

• Verified seller status with payout details configured.
• Minimum $10 cashout threshold.

Process:

1. Go to Account Settings and then Referrals.
2. Click the Cash Out button in the Credit Balance card.
3. Review your bank details on the confirmation screen.
4. Click Confirm Cash Out.
5. Funds transfer to your bank account.

Funds typically arrive in your bank account within 2-7 business days, depending on your bank.

If "Set Up Payout" appears instead:

1. Click "Set Up Payout".
2. Navigate to Account Settings and then Payments.
3. Enter BSB and account number.
4. Return to the Referrals page to complete the cashout.

Manual Code Entry

If someone missed the referral link:

1. During seller fee payment, they see "Have a referral code?"
2. They click and enter your code (e.g., TEACH-A1B2C3).
3. The $10 discount applies at checkout.
