Description

In this activity children practice reading Magic E words by playing a fun and fast-paced game! This resource can be used as a literacy small group task to develop reading fluency. All Australian state print options are included.


To play, children take turns choosing a card. They read the word shown, and keep the card. If a magician card is drawn, that player must return their cards to the bottom of the pile! 'Rabbit out of the hat' cards are treated as freebies for players to keep as they are turned over. The player with the most cards at the end of the game is the winner!


This resource is easy to prepare - simply print, laminate and cut! Your students will love playing this interactive game that encourages reading fluency.
