Description

In this activity, children read and clip CVC words. Each card features a picture and three words. Children clip the word that matches the picture.

These cards are perfect to use as a literacy small group task or 'Fast Finisher' activity. They can also be used as a quick assessment tool. Provide clothes pegs or paperclips for children to use to clip each card.

To prepare this resource, simply print and laminate the cards. This activity can be made self-correcting by placing a dot or sticker behind each correct word. Children make their choice and flip the card to see if it matches! This pack includes 64 cards.
