NUMBER REPRESENTATION TRAINS 0-20- ENGINES AND CARRIAGES PRINTABLE.
Overview
Description
This is a hands on, printable maths game to work on number representations to 20.
There are 8 different number representations included for each number 0-20. It comes in all Australian State fonts.
How to play:
Match up the 7 carriages to the engine! There are 8 different ways to represent each number.
- Numerals
- Dots
- Dice
- Tallies
- Tens frame/s
- Words
- Teddy counting
- Finger/s/ hand/s.
This game makes for a great maths centre or early finisher task but is very open ended and can be used as tickets out the door and even as a way to form random partners/ small groups by finding someone with the same number as you have.
It can also be played a different way where students randomly turn over a set number of cards (5 cards or 7 cards) to build a random train and then they fill each carriage with the matching number of classroom objects (pom poms, counters, marbles), showing their understanding of the number.
Simply print, laminate and cut and this game is ready to be used in the classroom.
