Foundation Kindergarten Maths Sorting Counting Objects Creating Simple Graphs

This is a set of sorting, counting, and graphing activities for kindergarten/foundation maths.

These activities involve matching, sorting, and counting sets of objects, representing numbers with tally marks, and colouring simple bar graphs.

INCLUDES:

• 5 different sets of sorting/counting cards (total of 50 cards)
• 5 graphing worksheets
• Answer keys

After giving students a set of cards to work with, they will:

• sort the cards
• count how many there are of each object
• complete a cut & glue tally chart
• colour a simple bar graph to show the number of each item

Each set of cards is colour-coded so it's easy to see which cards go together and won't get mixed up with other sets.
