Handwriting Write & Wipe Mats
Overview
Description
In this handwriting activity, children use whiteboard markers to trace the letters of the alphabet. Numbered dots and directional arrows assist with correct letter formation. This resource includes all Australian state fonts!
To prepare this resource, simply print and laminate the mats (or use with plastic pockets). Choose the file made using your state font. Students begin by saying the words at the top of the page beginning with the letter on the mat. Provide whiteboard markers and erasers for them to trace the letters, using the dots and arrows as guides. This activity is perfect as a literacy small group task, fine motor or 'Fast Finisher' option.
Print the black & white mats included onto coloured paper to save on ink. These can also be used with pencils, markers or crayons.
