PREFIXES Card Game - SPOONS - 4 Games with 3 Cards in each Set (2 illustrated for Differentiation)
Overview
Description
SPOONS has been around for decades and is super-entertaining. When used to target skill development its value is in student engagement and subsequent academic gains that are obvious the more it is played. This set has been developed for students who need more scaffolding with illustrations and only three cards per set.
There are four games with nine prefixes in each game. Each prefix has two word examples, illustrated to provide differentiation, making the set of three cards needed to win. You can leave out prefix sets and it won't affect the game. There is a discreet labelling system that facilitates mixing the sets and reconstituting the sets if you need to. There are enough cards in each set for four or five players.
