Description
This is my most popular game. It is simple enough to suit all age groups and it adapts well to academic objectives. In this case I have used it to target time at Year 2 level. There are two sets:
Set 1: Hour and Half Hour
- 48 cards plus the Donkey Card
- Contains all hour and half hour increments
Set 2: Quarter to and Quarter Past
- 48 cards plus the Donkey Card
- Contains all quarter hour increments
Both sets are uniform in size and colour. You can mix them if you wish. Alternatively, split them up to cater for a wider range of small groups and/or abilities. Up to six players can play.
This product aligns with the Australian Curriculum and targets AC9M2M04 which identifies an analogue clock. I have included digital because that's what most children see these days. The matching activity in this game combines both. You could use it as just that before introducing the game.
