This game will consolidate time concepts to the five minutes and provide high levels of engagement that will contribute to mastery and fluency. There are two sets with 52 cards in each (26 pairs).


The game of GO FISH is an oldie but a goodie. It lends itself to matching activities and adapts to skill targets easily. The advantage of this game is that players have to say what is on their card as they ask another player for a match. Not all matching games are this specific. It suits younger players but I have had ten year-olds who enjoy it as well. If your students needs a game with more strategy involved I recommend SPOONS with five minute increments.
