Matilda, written by Roald Dahl, is a great choice for a literacy unit when you have a diverse class. Games like this provide high engagement and the opportunity for repetition that worksheets can't. Some students just need more time than others. Using a variety of games will ensure different interests are catered for and students will be motivated. Once the games are made you will be able to use them over and over.
