About This Resource

This Stage 1 English B – Unit 21 resource focuses on building students’ understanding of context, personal connections, and meaning in texts through explicit, developmentally appropriate lessons.

Please note that, as of 2026, the Department’s scope and sequence, along with the introduction of a different mentor text to begin the term, have led to this unit being offered free of charge. If you are going with the 2025 scope and sequence, you will still use this for the first week of Term 1.

Rather than letting this resource go unused, it is shared to support classroom practice and provide insight into the structure and quality of resources available in my store.
