This Stage 1 Year 1 Science and Technology Slides Bundle (Terms 1–3) has been created to support teachers implementing the new NSW Science and Technology K–6 Syllabus (2024) from 2026.


The bundle includes ready-to-use teaching slides for Terms 1, 2, and 3, aligned to the Year 1 scope and sequence and written in clear, teacher-friendly language. It is ideal for teachers who want structured, engaging lessons without spending hours planning or unpacking syllabus documents.


✨ Term 4 slides will be added at a later date — this bundle allows you to access the first three terms now, with the flexibility to add Term 4 when ready.

  • Explicit focus on creating written texts in Science and Technology
  • Term 3 Slides - Materials and Their Properties - This unit aligns with the focus on exploring Planet Earth as our home by investigating materials, their properties, and how they are used in everyday contexts. Students examine how materials are sourced, used, and changed, supporting understanding of Earth’s resources and human interaction with the environment.

Term 4 – The Human Body’s Sense Organs (Coming Soon)

This unit will support students to investigate how the five sense organs detect and respond to environmental changes. It provides a strong end-of-year focus on observation, investigation, and explanation, consolidating key scientific skills developed throughout the year.
