Description

The 9x table will be easy to learn when you use this booklet and the games will contribute to fluency the more they are played.

I have added these games:

Bingo - 10 boards + Flash Cards - targets fluency and can be used by the whole class in groups.

The Grid Game - a board game for 2 players - targets fluency and has a clever strategy element that appeals to the thinkers. There is a colour and black and white version. It needs six counters in two different colours, but can be played over and over.

Stepping Stones - Single player, timed board game - I use this when fluency is progressing and my students want to see how fast they are. It has a lot of appeal to those students who want to compete with themselves.

Donkey - 2 sets of 26 cards - I have separated the multiplication and division cards, but you can mix them easily and cater for up to ten students. This is the game most students love at any age.

Spoons - targets inverse relationships. This is lots of fun for this age group and might create havoc. There are only 27 cards and it is best played with around four players, but you can mix it with one of my other Spoons games and you can have bigger groups. The format, size, and colours are the same. You will need a few plastic spoons or similar small objects.

Master of Multiples is a board game that needs two dice and lots of counters - two players. It targets fluency but the fun comes from knocking off an opponent's counters.

The wrist band is included in case you want to use it as an incentive. I use it to target fluency times. There is a 9x poster and a back to back worksheet as well.
