This package has 24 GAME BOARDS and is a great way to practise CCVC (short vowel) words. There are separate boards for the separate short vowels and boards with mixed vowels for discrimination and consolidation, perfect for differentiation.

I have added a BLANK BOARD so you can differentiate even further. All you need are counters and dice to get started. I have included a Word List for each board. You can check it out in the PREVIEW and I have added a copy in the product so you can just copy the boards you need to suit your needs.

My special interest is the foundation skills of literacy and numeracy, so I have developed the games in small, incremental steps to facilitate mastery. There is a carefully developed sequence, but you can use them in the order you prefer. Students play them over and over for fun, not realising they are consolidating the skills they need to progress in reading.
