Description
This is the fun you add when you are teaching CCVC words. There are three sets with 21 pairs in each set. One card in each pair is illustrated. That's what makes it so flexible. You can use it for intervention prior to playing. Every student will succeed and develop fluency at their own individual rate.
The words I have used are:
Set 1: clap, step, grip, shop, drum, plan, sled, drip, blob, drug, slam, bled, chip, shot, shut, pram, stem, stop, spot, slip, grin
Set 2: snap, sped, grid, smog, glum, stag, then, trim, slot, grub, grab, fled, chin, clop, plum, tram, twin, spin, snip, them, skip
Set 3: span, scan, swim, glad, frog, plug, slug, flag, flat, brat, plus, flap, flip, twig, plop, slab, scam, drop, from, drag, trap
You can mix sets and leave out any pairs that do not suit. It will not change the game. Start with just a few pairs if you have students who need this level of support.
