Contractions don't come with more fun than with this game. DONKEY is a favourite with my students. Play it with 2 to 6 and be prepared for high levels of engagement as students match the contractions with the words that they belong to. You can use it for intervention as a matching activity prior to learning to play.

There are 22 contractions on cards with illustrations of big-eyed animals. I have included my Contractions Poster. I also have a more comprehensive DONKEY game with two sets here.
