CVC Reading Card Game - Shark Attack
Overview
Description
In this activity children practice reading CVC words by playing a fun and fast-paced game! This resource can be used as a small group or partner task to develop reading fluency. All Australian state print options are included in this file.
To play, children take turns choosing a card. They read the word shown, and keep the card. If a shark card is drawn, that player must return their cards to the bottom of the pile! The player with the most cards at the end of the game is the winner!
This resource is easy to prepare - simply print, laminate and cut! Your students will love playing this interactive game that encourages reading fluency.
