Description

You’ve introduced the initial code and now your students are ready for the next step: building fluency.

This CVC Roll and Write Activity gives them the engaging, structured practise they need to move from simply knowing sounds to confidently encoding and writing words. With just a dice roll, students are practising encoding in a way that feels like a game, not a worksheet.

Aligned to the Foundation Australian V9 Curriculum (AC9EFLY12). It requires minimal preparation, so you can make the most of every minute!

Included:

  • 6 different boards for phonics groups, morning work, revision, and fluency practise
  • Multiple print options: full colour, low colour and black and white
  • Low prep: just print, add dice, and you’re ready to go

How it works:

- Students roll a die, check the matching row, then write the CVC words. Play it independently or with a partner.

- It is a perfect activity for phonics rotations, small groups or early finishers.

Simple. Fun. Effective.

Your students will get the repeated practise they need, while you get a ready-to-use resource that saves you planning time.

Perfect for: Early primary classrooms and is aligned to the Foundation Australian Curriculum V9 (AC9EFLY12).
