Father’s Day

  • This Father’s Day pack will give you options to record memories or thoughts about your student’s Dad. Then they can create a card and place their notes inside to share with Dad on Father’s Day.
  • List what your Dad does for you – 2 color options
  • Cards for Dad – you could use as they are or have your kids design front covers for the card
  • Answer these questions about your Dad and share you answers with him
  • Design a tie for Dad
  • Me and My Dad – attach a photo and add a narrative – recount
  • List reasons why “I am pleased you are my Dad”


Father’s Day – Dad’s and Donuts

  • If your grad is celebrating Father’s Day with a Dad’s and Donuts night this is the pack for you. Get your Dad’s working alongside your students on these vibrant centres and talking about Math. Even if you just use these in your classroom all your kids will love the Father’s Day theme.
  • You may decide to copy two pages onto one
  • page to have less color copying or use the ‘save my ink’ versions that are included with each section.

1 - Make a picture – use the numerals to 10 to order the pictures

2 - Ten Frames – vertical versions. Use as flashcards for consolidating number sense to 10

3 - Peg the donuts – count the donuts and place a peg to show the correct amount.

4 - How many tools in the toolbox? Read the number and place the same amount of tools on the tool box.

5 - Which bag has more donuts? Use the more than, less than signs to show this.

6 - Missing donuts – what number is in between?

7 - Skip Counting donuts – what is missing or next in the sequence, record on the sheet provided

8 - Roll and cover using dice, add 1, add, double 

9 - How many donuts does Dad eat? These are addition and subtraction equations to 20

10 - Time to eat donuts? Match o'clock and half pasts to their labels


Father’s Day – Interactive Card

  • This pack will help create a large card that has many sections
  • There are instructions with photos to help assemble the card
  • There are Grandad and Uncle versions available to use

1. Photocopy all pages 

2. Choose an A3 card and fold in half

3. Cut out the first page and glue on

4. Cut all the Memory Pages, staple and glue 

5. Cut out the other sections on page 5 and glue on 

6. Cut and put together the ‘Our Holidays’ booklet and glue into place

7. Put together the IOU booklet and glue in

8. Cut and glue all page 6 pieces in 

9. Add the “What I love most about my Dad’ tag as a flip page 

10. Now it is time to write…..
