This 30 question Halloween 2D Shape resource made for Google Slides™ is designed for Foundation and first grade students who are being introduced to or reviewing 2D shapes. These math slides fit perfectly into your math lessons, morning work, mini lesson introductions, whole class exit activity or review, individual work or even homework.


How do my students use this resource?

Clear simple instructions are provided on each slide. Your students will look at the label for the skeleton which tells them the 2D shape they are looking for. Next students choose between 3 2D shape options. Your students identify the correct 2D shape and click on the correct button. If correct students progress through the resource to the next slide. If incorrect the game has students have another try at answering the question. With two goes through the most common 15 2D shapes provided students have have more than one attempt without building frustration if they are not successful immediately. The perfect challenge level for students when revising identifying 2D shapes.


This Google Slides resource should be viewed in Slideshow mode. Slideshow mode allows students to get instant feedback when they click on their answers which means students can work independently without interrupting you. Immediate feedback also removes the need for you to mark student answers.
