Letter Recognition Card Game - Beep! Beep!
Overview
Description
In this activity children practice identifying letters by playing a fun and fast-paced game! This resource can be used as a literacy small group task to develop letter recognition fluency. All Australian state print options are included.
To play, children take turns choosing a card. If they can identify the lower or uppercase letter shown, they keep the card. If a 'STOP' sign is on the card chosen, that player must return their cards to the bottom of the pile! Traffic light 'freebies' add an extra element of fun. The player with the most cards at the end of the game is the winner!
This resource is easy to prepare - simply print, laminate and cut! Choose the file with your state print font. Your students will love playing this interactive game that encourages letter recognition fluency.
