How do Pairing Student Cards for Partner and Group Work-Grouping Cards work?

This resource consists of two sets of pairing student cards.

The first set will split your students into pairs. Twenty different partner combinations are included.

The second set will divide your class into groups of 4. One of the cards has a number 1 printed on it to clearly show who the leader of the group is, minimising arguments once the group forms.

Each set of cards has a large main image that represents what the student is. There is also a smaller image which shows your student who their partner, or other group members, will be.

Download the cards and print. You can choose to print onto cardstock or laminate for durability to use year after year. Then cut out the cards and divide them into two bundles for when you wish to have your students work with a partner and when you wish to have your students form small groups of four. Then simply hand out to students. You can choose to hand them out randomly or you can still determine the groups by choosing to give specific cards to students without them ever knowing.

With a fun cute, food theme these cards are suitable for all subjects where students are to work cooperatively with others in your learning space.
