This workbook will complement your teaching when you introduce percentage. There are concept development pages for group work and worksheets suitable for the whole class. The poster is for display and as a memory aide. The fifty task cards will consolidate the concept and can be used for independent review as well.
I have added three games for consolidation and lots of fun. The ROLL and PLAY worksheet/games need a six-sided die to play. The game has high levels of engagement for players as the throw of the die means the game is never the same twice.
- ROLL and PLAY - Worksheet/Game - Fractions of 10 and 100 to Percentage. Suitable for the whole class or an independent activity.
- ROLL and PLAY - Worksheet/Game - Simplified Fractions to Percentage. This version takes the skill level up a notch.
- SPOONS - Small Group Card Game matching Simplified Fractions, Decimals and Percentage. This is a very exciting game and might cause a bit of noise as players compete for the spoons.
