Sounds of 'ea' Game - GO FISH + Poster - Designed for DIFFERENTIATION

Description
This is the most flexible game you can use when you have students who need to read and say the words with the letter combination 'ea'. It will target phonemic awareness and comprehension simultaneously. The cards are in pairs with one card illustrated. This is the element of flexibility that lends itself to intervention when vocabulary development/comprehension is also an issue. Matching word cards to illustrated cards is a good start for some students before they learn to play.
There are long and short 'e' words and vowels modified by 'r' included. The word 'heart' is not often included in collections like this, and you can leave it out if you wish. Any pairs you choose to leave out will not affect the game.
The 26 words I have used are:
wear, treasure, death, bear, early, flea, ear, pearl, heart, eagle, sweat, leader, spread, threat, search, thread, learn, earn, earth, pear, wealthy, healthy, bread, beard, jealous, deaf
