This game is similar to UNO, only simpler. Players have to match suffixes. That's the skill building part. The fun starts with the SWITCH and TAKE 2 cards and the strategies involved. It has wide appeal and the skill target means players are looking at the ending of the words they need to match. This will contribute to deconstruction of multi-syllabic words and reading fluency with less 'guessing' based on the beginning of words.

Knowledge of suffixes contributes to morphological development, comprehension and vocabulary building. The words I have used are listed in the preview.

There are 63 cards in each set and you can split or mix the sets if you need to.
