This is a hands-on and fun number activity.

• Tens frame recording sheet

Setup some sand in a sensory tray, place the sandcastle numbers in the sand. Students then find and pick a sandcastle read the number, write the number on their laminated recording sheet and fill out the tens frame for that number.
