Description

This PowerPoint is a REVIEW. It does not include my explicit Vowel Team ow and ou Interactive PowerPoints but it does include slides to review the Vowel Teams ow and ou- representing the /ow/ vowel sound.

It focuses on:

- ow being used to represent the /ow/ sound at the end of a word.

- ou being used to represent the /ow/ sound at the start or in the middle of a word.

This Interactive PowerPoint is a review. It allows students to read and sort words with the vowel teams ou and ow .

- A Vowel Team review- reminding students about the vowel teams and what sounds they represent.

- A child friendly Learning Intention.

- Select the correct spelling choice by applying the spelling rule.

- Look at the ou and ow picture and write a sentence to match the picture.

- Help the snow owl to sort the ou and ow mounds.

- Mixed ou and ow decodable words.

- Decodable Sentences.

It is available in 6 fonts:

The decodable sentences included could also be used as dictation- where the teacher asks the students to write a sentence one word at a time, to assess learning to see if students are applying this spelling rule.
