About Classmate

Classmate is an Australian-built AI lesson planner. Add your classroom details, including year level, student learning and support needs, and lesson length, then chat with the Classmate assistant to build a complete teaching package: a lesson plan, a classroom presentation with speaker notes, and printable worksheets with answer keys. Every package is aligned to Australian Curriculum v9, NSW syllabuses or Victorian Curriculum F–10 content, and lessons are organised by term so you can reuse or revise them later. You can edit any resource directly, or ask the chatbot to change the reading level, differentiate a task by ability or add new examples. Classmate also lets you build goals and adjustments from Individual Education Plans (IEPs) into generated lessons, which makes it useful for learning support and inclusion staff as well as classroom and relief teachers. Resources download as PDFs, and the free plan covers five complete lesson packages a month.
