Overview
Description
This is Lesson 1 in a series of 5 lessons that explores visual conventions and drawing processes and materials, to create drawings that communicate ideas, perspectives and meaning.
Inspired by one of Ezgi Yesilnur’s graphite pencil drawings, in this lesson students will:
- Revise the materials and techniques used to create drawings and explore themes in drawings.
- Practice using a graphite pencil and shading techniques to interpret a theme.
- Discuss and record the subject and theme of their drawing and the media and techniques they used to create it.
