Description
This product is intended for use when writing general comments for students report cards. It includes a bank of statements to choose from to individualise the general comments for your students. Also included are examples of a finished general comment.
There are multiple statements to choose from under each focus section. Focus sections include; working independently, time management, group work, listening, following instructions and around the school.
How to use it:
Broken up into different focus sections. Write your general comments by simply starting with the name of your student, follow the order of the sections, take a sentence from each section, then personalise the final comment if needed. Once you are done, read the whole general comment back to yourself to see how it all flows together.
This document is perfect for beginning teachers who are about to write their first set of reports.
This document is also great for teachers who struggle to write general comments or take forever to write them.
I never used to follow a structure when writing general report comments and it would take FOREVERRR! I was starting from scratch for each student in my class and the general comment structure was different for everyone.
By creating this document, my general comments followed a structure and I found them a lot easier to write.
I hope it helps you too.
Let me know if you think there is anything else that could be added to this document.
