Description
This is the ideal game for multi-ability classes. All the cards are illustrated, making them the choice for intervention prior to playing. The high levels of engagement with this game means students of all abilities will improve fluency levels the more they play and decode the words.
The words I have used are:
Set 1: bled, shed, clop, shop (verb), snug, drug, slam, cram, them, stem, trod, shod, sled, sped, swam, gram, glob, blob, clam, trim, twin, thin, chat, flat, flag, drag, drum, plum, snap, flap (envelope), twig, brig, chin, grin, clip, flip, grub, club, grid, slid, slot, shot, brim, trim
Set 2: drip, skip, blot, trot, prop, shop (noun), grab, crab, scan, plan, flap (wings), slap, smog, frog, snag, stag, spot, plot, shin, spin, swim, slim, plug, slug, brat, that, ship, trip, flip, flop, stop, chop, spit, slit, glum, slum, chum, scum, shun, spun, drop, slop, step, prep
You can leave out pairs without it affecting the game and the sizes are uniform, so mixing is not a problem.
