CCVC POSTERS (5) - All Short Vowel Words

These posters were made to scaffold CCVC words as some students need more support than others.

Most of the students I see in intervention are still confusing long and short vowel sounds. I find I need to go back to short vowel sounds and associated letter patterns for remediation. This step in phonic progression follows CVC with short vowel sounds, so the CCVC letter pattern with short vowel sounds only introduces blending and this incremental step will ensure students of all abilities master CCVC before CVCC, and then long vowel sounds and their letter patterns after that. You will be doing me out of a job and that's more than okay.
