I created this resource to support early writing in the classroom. When introducing a new phoneme (sound) it is important to apply and practice the new sound by reading and writing words with the new sound.

I use this PowerPoint as the we do and you do component of the phonics lesson. There is a slide for the teacher to model writing the word/ sentence and then a slide with the letters animated to pop up and sound out the word and then press again to scramble the letters for students to have a go and write the word on their whiteboard. this process has helped my students become confident and independent early writers.
