This game will add fun to learning diphthongs ou and ow. There are 10 boards, 25 illustrated word cards and 25 flash cards. It is this variety makes it so flexible. You can use it for intervention prior to playing, making it an all-ability game.

The purpose of the game is to get three adjoining words in a row, but you can extend the game to five words in a row if you have time. The 25 words are in different places on each board.

The words I have used are:

shower, round, power, loud, cloud, sound, crowd, mouth cow, sour, brown, out, growl, shout, down, count, flower, pouch, owl, crouch, howl, mouse, crown, house, south

I have included two A4 vowel posters for ou and ow.
