Description

Are you looking for a no-prep, interactive shapes activity to support your student's identification of 2D and 3D shapes with a fun, Earth Day theme? Earth Day 2D or 3D Shapes created in Google Slides™, is designed for your Foundation and first grade students who are being introduced to or reviewing flat and solid shapes. These Earth Day themed math google slides fit perfectly into your Math lessons, mini lesson introductions, whole class exit activity or review, individual work maths groups or even homework.

How do my students use this resource?

Clear simple instructions are provided on each slide and an example is also included. Your students will look at the object and using their knowledged of flat and solid shapes identify whether the object is 2D or 3D. Your students must then click on the correct button. If correct students progress through the resource to the next slide. If incorrect the game has students have another try at answering the question. Students may have more than one attempt without building frustration if they are not successful immediately. The perfect challenge level for students when revising 2D and 3D shapes. Feedback responses have animated slides to motivate students as they progress through the activity.

This Google Slides resource should be viewed in Slideshow mode. Slideshow mode allows students to get instant feedback when they click on their answers which means students can work independently without interrupting you. Immediate feedback also removes the need for you to mark student answers.
