FRY's Instant Sight Words - The First 300 - Screening Kit plus Games

This is the easy way to practise and learn the first 300 high frequency common words that represent around 65% of all common reading material. This list is based on solid research by Dr Edward Fry and revised in 1996 (1000 Instant Words: The Most Common Words for Teaching Reading, Writing and Spelling).

Use the resources in this kit to supplement your teaching with the flexibility to cater for a wide range of ability. There are three kits : 1-100, 101-200 and 201-300. In each kit you will find:

• Flash Cards
• Numbered smaller cards
• Tags (for individual screening - mine are on a key ring in sets of 25)
• A4 Sheet for students to track their own progress
• Student record for individual students
• Class Overview to identify ability groups and target skill deficits
