Description

SIMPLE, FUN & ENGAGING!

A science activity for foundation/ pre-primary to Year 3 students. Students can learn through play to distinguish between living and non living things.

This package is a great way to formatively assess your students’ knowledge. But it also works as a fun summative assessment!

Included in the pack:

•37 draw cards

•Blank bingo template for students to draw their own

•20 unique bingo cards. Each have: 2 non-living objects, 8 animals & 2 plants

Variations:

•Ask students to choose living and non-living things to draw from the draw cards list.

•When you call the card, instead of calling the animal/ item name, describe it. E.g. this is a living thing, it has a long tail and 2 pointy ears, it hops on two legs and lives in the Australian bush. (Kangaroo)

•Students colour the items drawn instead of placing a counter over them
