WHAT'S INCLUDED
✅️ 32 pattern strips featuring colourful AB, AAB, ABB and ABC patterns for students to copy and continue.
✅️ Each pattern has an 'easy' version where the pattern is repeated twice and a 'hard' version where the pattern is only pictured once. Great for gradually developing pattern recognition skills.
HOW TO USE
⭐️ Simply print, laminate and cut these strips, then enjoy building colourful patterns using counters, beads, playdough, blocks or coloured dry erase markers. Perfect for Maths centres, rotations or independent practice.
⭐️ Or, use the sheets as patterns worksheets and have students continue the pattern with coloured pencils. This would make a great patterns homework task.
This resource pairs perfectly with Pevan & Sarah's 'Patterns' music video series (click the link to see a preview!), in which Pevan & Sarah show students some number, shape, colour and letter patterns and encourage them to say them out loud. Then students have a go at predicting what comes next. AB, AAB and ABC pattern videos available. Sign up to Cub Club to access the videos, along with this printable resource and many others.
