Description

This is the easy way to teach the prefix 'dis' meaning "not", "the opposite of" or "reversal. It is a worksheet/game for two and needs pencils and a six-sided die to play. You can use it as much as you like and it will not lose its appeal because the throw of the die determines how the game progresses. It's great for consolidation or review and the Flash Cards are included for those students who are still decoding multi-syllable words or vocabulary building.

The words I have used are:

disconnect, disable, dislike, disappoint, dislocated, disappear, disrespectful, discontent, dishearten, disjointed, dishonest, disgrace, discontinue, disillusioned, discontinuous, disobey, disallow, disengage, disinclined, dismount, disadvantage, disagree, discredit, disintegrate, displeasure, disorder, disloyal, discourage, discount, disregard, disinfect, disapprove, disenchanted, dislodge, dissatisfied, disqualified, disinterested, disentangle, disoriented, distrust, disown, disarm, disgraceful, dispossess, disuse, disbelief, discomfort, disharmony, distaste, disempower
