Using Drawing Techniques to Demonstrate Feelings and Effects - Creating and Making Drawing Lesson 4
Overview
Description
This is Lesson 4 in a series of 5 lessons that introduce different drawing techniques and materials to your Foundation students.
Through Paris Owen’s Animal Drawings, students will explore:
- How Paris has chosen to represent each animal and what feelings and thoughts each drawing evokes as a result.
- Different drawing techniques to create their own drawing of an animal.
- What displays are and how artwork can be displayed according to their subject.
Animals are a great subject for exploring feelings in art. Drawing them and their surroundings also gives students the opportunity to practise different marks and techniques to create effects like fur or spikes or even to show how the animal might be feeling.
Designed to make your art teacher life easier, the included lesson plans, assessment and slides to use during the lesson are aligned to the Australian Visual Arts Curriculum 9.0.
