About Edcafe AI

Edcafe AI is an AI toolkit for building interactive classroom activities. Start from a topic, your own notes, an uploaded file, a webpage or a YouTube video, and Edcafe generates a quiz, slide deck, set of flashcards, reading activity, summary notes or a full lesson plan. Everything can be edited before you share it. Activities are shared with students by link, and you can see each student's submissions and results in one place. You can also build custom AI chatbots for a topic (a revision buddy or a character from a novel, for example), and Edcafe monitors those student conversations and alerts you if one shows signs of distress. An AI assignment grader drafts feedback on student work for you to review. Edcafe is made by Inknoe, the Singapore company behind the ClassPoint add-in for PowerPoint. It states that it does not use your prompts, files or outputs to train AI models. The free plan includes unlimited AI generations, with up to 40 students per activity.
