After looking at an abstract artwork by Australian artist Paris Owen, students will:

• Learn to identify the art elements of line, colour and shape.
• Create their own abstract drawings using these art elements.
• Share the choices they made in their drawings with the class. 

This is a great way to introduce Foundation students to abstract art and get them using the art elements of line, shape and colour to create their own abstract artworks. It’s also useful for building fine motor and cutting skills.
